Inexpensive, reliable, simple, the hallmarks of the KSET system make it the best choice for low wind speed residential and commercial applications. Our wind turbine based design catches wind from all directions creating smooth powerful torque to spin the electric generator. Mounted up to 35 feet high, in winds as low as 10 mph the Helix system creates electricity to power your home or business.

 

How it works: As the wind blows the blade scoops catch wind from all directions forcing it through the turbine. The turbine generator is connected directly to your home and as electricity is generated your home is powered. If the wind isn’t blowing your home is powered by the energy grid as usual. If the wind is blowing strongly then your energy produced can exceed your energy consumed and, depending on your local utility, your meter can spin backwards rolling back your energy bill.

 

Vertical-axis wind turbines (VAWTs) are a type of wind turbine where the main rotor shaft is set vertically and the main components are located at the base of the turbine. Among the advantages of this arrangement are that generators and gearboxes can be placed close to the ground, which makes these components easier to service and repair, and that VAWTs do not need to be pointed into the wind. Major drawbacks for the early designs (Savonius, Darrieus and giromill) included the pulsatory torque that can be produced during each revolution and the huge bending moments on the blades. Later designs solved the torque issue by using the helical twist of the blades almost similar to Gorlov’s water turbines.

We have created several prototypes of wind turbines with vertical axis, conducted tests successfully, created drawings, created tech-maps of technological processes and the applicability and interchangeability of materials and got patents for inventions and utility models in Ukraine and the USA.

 

We regularly participate in major exhibitions and conferences on wind energy, alternative energy and energy forums.

 

We are ready to service orders for wind turbines up to 10kW of power.

 

In the future, we will build a wind turbine plant that produces up to 1 GW of power that will soon become the basis of the wind power industry.

 

First wind powered car

 

Unlike any other electric car, this one has virtually no limits in distance and speed. As soon as car starts to move wind flows coming to the turbine start to produce electricity that power the engine. The faster car goes, the more electricity is generated, that powers the car and makes it move faster and faster.
